Privacy policy
YellowCopy
The short version
YellowCopy does not collect any data. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us.
What the app stores, and where
To do its job, the app saves the following on your device:
- The reports you create and the details you enter in them, such as customer, equipment and job information
- Photos you take for a report, and receipt photos for expense reports
- Customers, machines, parts and rates you save
- Your settings
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, your calls, customers and photos sync through your own private iCloud account so they are backed up and available on your other devices. That data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Plot Twist Software cannot see or access it.
Camera
The app uses the camera only so you can take photos for a report or a receipt. Photos stay with the report on your device.
Notifications
If you turn it on, the app schedules an optional workday reminder to restock parts. The reminder is scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to us.
Sending reports
When you send a service or expense report, the app opens your device's own Mail app with the report attached. The email goes from your email account to the recipients you choose.
What we do not collect
- Personal information of any kind
- The contents of your reports or photos
- Analytics or usage data
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
- Location
The app contains no third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, or advertising networks. If you choose to share crash reports and app analytics with developers in your device's settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated diagnostics that do not identify you.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
